Overview

The East Kootenay ICAT Training Planning Team has organized a free 1-day training session for service providers from the region who are involved with or interested in developing ICATs. Seating is limited so register early.

Who Should Attend?
This training is designed for front line service providers and managers from police, victim services, counselling and outreach, safe homes, shelters, emergency room nurses, mental health and addictions, justice system and others interested in learning about domestic violence risk factors, and building or enhancing Interagency Case Assessment Teams.

Organized by

The training is provided by Community Coordination for Women’s Safety (CCWS), a program of the Ending Violence Association of BC. The focus is on provincial best practices for identifying high riskdomestic violence cases, sharing information legally and ethically, and collaborating on increasingsafety. The training includes resource people from RCMP ‘E’ Division Headquarters.
